On arrival at Cochin you will be welcomed and transferred to the Casino Hotel, which is located at the Willington Island. Afternoon you will be taken on half day sight seeing tour to the St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, The Dutch Palace, The Jewish Synagogue, and in the evening you will be taken to Brunton Boatyard for Dinner. This hotel is designed and build in the early Dutch and Portuguese style and overlooks the busy harbour.

After breakfast you will be driven to the Spice Village which is set in the heart of Cardamom Hills. The stay will be in individual cottages thatched with elephant grass, which offers simple luxury and privacy. Your stay here will definitely recreate the mood of tribal community amongst the landscaped spice garden.

Today early morning you will be taken to the famous Periyar wild life sanctuary where you cruise on a boat (on own) on a man made lake to view the wildlife in its natural way. Later in the afternoon you will be taken around some of the Spice plantations where a local guide explains you the growth of various spices grown and processed.

After break fast we will take you to Coconut Lagoon. This resort is voted as the World Best Heritage Resort and it is set on an abandoned coconut plantation in the very heart of these fascinating backwaters and has been designed to give visitors an authentic insight into Kuttanad life. The resort can be reached only by Boat and its accommodation consists of individual cottages called Tharavads, the traditional wooden house of Kerala.

Today morning visit the nearby Bird sanctuary which is spread across 14 acres and then the day is totally free for your independent activities. Just relax in the comfort of your resort or under those beautiful palms where birds play the age-old traditional music.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the famous Marari Beach Resort. This resort is set in 30 acres of Coconut Palm groves and built in the style resembling a traditional fishing village with thatched roofs.

After breakfast we take on a visit to one of the Coir factory, it is very big industry in Alleppey district. At the factory you will be exposed to that gigantic wooden looms processing the coir and the fascinating sight of men and women working on it. You will also view that beautiful end results, the well matted and designed coir carpets.
